There have been sixteen “new” free games released on iTunes since the beginning of April !!(in fact over just two days as the 3rd April ones are yet to appear). Why the quotes? Because only a few of these are completely new games – either because the non-lite version has been made available before the current lite version – or because the “new” one is the latest upgraded version.
To take the pain out of deciding which – if any – to try, we have reviewed the latest offers. We looked at the ratings they have been given by those that have already played the games, and we looked at the 
websites (the game developers) behind the game App. The following list has the games in order of user-ratings, with those game Apps with the better website backing appearing higher in the list. And we excluded games from our list that did not manage to receive at least a 3-star rating. Links to the free games are also provided.
Of the sixteen, only half have received ratings of 3 stars or better. And two got 3.5 star ratings.
